The need to improve learning outcomes in class VII students of Al Washliyah Middle School, then a model is sought that encourages like mathematics, motivate learn independently, and encourage have curiosity, involve active learning, both mentally , physical, or social. Therefore teacher must be able understand the cognitive style students. This because ability people processing information each individual different. this study tests compares several models are more effective Alwashliyah School Mathematics, Deli Serdang among them 1) Problem Learning Model Posing with direct models, 2) Independent Field Cognitive Style Dependent Style. also analyzed whether there was an interaction could influence Mathematics Class School. method used pseudo experimental factory research design 2 x 2. conducted at Serdang. results others Mathematical taught higher problem posing than Students who styles independent fields obtain mathematical Dependent.
